Ok, here is what you do! Make up a set of two pipes set like these. Keep it simple and tack what you have on a couple of pieces of steel strips. cross attach underneath the bodywork with a couple of 1/4 nuts and bolts Don't worry you can fill them later. Double-sided tape will work also if you don't want to disturb your finished body. They just need to sit on top for a few hours........read on.
I would place them towards the rear just for effect and ease of placement being the primary goal. You're not going to use them...................are you?
Now the finish! on Christmas night after the kids, all are in bed and asleep. You have placed a heater in the garage beforehand if necessary, along with a nice little round table and two chairs. Don't forget candles and table cloth. Now get a bottle of wine, two glasses and the wife and head out to the garage for the big reveal!
