Considering SLC

Any SLC owners/builders in the DC area? I have a vacancy in my garage/workshop and think an SLC project will fill the void nicely. I saw one at a local Cars n Coffee a while back, but didn't have a chance to speak with the owner.

I'm also curious as to how many have been built or sold. I realize they are not a Factory Five, but I never see them on the usual sights for sale.

I'm in much the same boat as I've been dreaming of a kit car for a very long time. It began with the FF5's, for a time was looking at the Ultima, and am now drooling over the SLC.

This site is very informative but I too am anxious to meet an actual owner and check out a car in the flesh!

Will, perhaps I could bug you one of these days too as I live in MD near DC?
