Dimensions needed

Guys,

I really need the dimensions of a water pump for an explorer SBF. What is the distance from the front end of the pump to the back edge that meets the timing chain cover. Also, what is the distance from the front of the head to the front most edge of the pump that would meet the inside of the pulley.

Close ... within 1/8-1/4" is probably good enough.

I need the information to make sure what is actually mounted on my engine ... so that I don't buy parts that are already there!

Thanks a bunch.

I will get this for you tomorrow and take some close pictures. RF did a nice job with their brackets and is as tidy as I've seen, and very short. I used a different cover and water pump than RF specifics and think I got it even tighter as I had to turn down all of Robert's spacers to get everything to line up.

The pump is approx 4 1/4" from the timing cover to the tip of the pump, or 3 1/4 to the pully mount.
Ron is correct RF did /does a really nice job for the front dress.
