door sill/make it wather proof CAV gt40

Hi, wondering how to make it wather proof around th door hinges. do i miss something from CAV, or do you make a bracket from where the spider ends down to the side skirt.

Attached are photos from CAV150 silver, CAV111 blue (Taylor Automotive), CAV204 all appear to have weatherstripping only.

this issue - but not CAV specific - has been discussed on this forum before...

These are the detailed parts that we do that other manufacturers can not be bothered with.

It costs time and money to develop these kind of parts but its the right way to do it.

That's the difference with our kit packages

Made a plate that sandwiches between the dash mount and chassis to hold the door seal.

On the southern gt design theers a piece of ali trim that goes between the the dash and chassis ,angled so you run the door seal all the way down will stick a pic up later today if it helps

Havard,
there is an aluminum plate that goes behind the dash and sandwiched to the chassis that continues the edge where the weatherstrip attaches to the spider. I'm sure you can have the factory send you one or you can make one up yourself. I don't have a picture of it but maybe someone on the forum does.
