DVD Ripping Service

Anyone used a DVD Ripping service in the US they can recommend? My wife and I have some CDs we want to convert to MP3 files but doing so would consume a horrible amount of time. I've heard $1 to $1.25 a CD, which would be okay in my opinion. Any recommendations? Thanks,
Ron

Hi Ron,

I ended up striking a deal with one of my boys for a dollar a CD a few months ago, which i thought was a good deal until my son told me (after he was done) that I was ripping from the slow drive on our PC and the 56x drive in the second bay was able to rip at 1 CD per minute. So I ended up paying him $60 an hour for 3 hours :-( A deals a deal...

Sorry I don't have a recommendation for a third party service.

Regards,

Al

Ron,
Have you looked at Kim Komando's web site(.com)? I did a search about cd to dvd and there were 60+ threads on the subject. You might be able to do it yourself if you got the equipment. All you would need is the sofware, and I bet she has some for free or there about.

Bill's post reminded me that I should mention that we used iTunes (free for PC or Mac) to rip our CDs. It will let you import in a variety of formats MP3, AAC...

Al
