Dyno Tuning

Until a couple of weeks ago, my car lived at about 800' above sea level. Now it spends it's time at 6,000', plus or minus a thousand or so as it flies through the mountains.

The car is fuel injected with a Big Stuff 3 ECU. I've been tinkering with the map, tuning it for the elevation here. I'm thinking about bringing it to someone for a dyno tune but I'm not sure it's worth the money, especially considering that I'll lose a couple thousand feet by the time I get to the tuner's.

For those of you who've had your GT40 tuned on a chassis dyno, what kind of dyno was it, inertial or steady-state? Was it worth the expense?

Also, did you have to remove the rear bodywork to keep the fiberglass from overheating over the exhaust system?
