Engine question

I've read the 347 stroker may have longevity and reliability problems from the wrist pins intersecting with the piston rings.

Do the 342 strokers have this problem as well? What would be the advantage of using the 342 or 331 strokers over the 347?

Thanks.

THe 342 and 347 are the same stroke but the 347 has a .030" overbore. If you are going to want a high reving engine that has great life, go with a FMS Sportsman block, 331, forged crank and forged pistons. The 331 does not have the wristpin encroaching into the oil ring land.
