First off, let me thank Grady Wilson for inviting us up to Asheville to take a ride in his MkII. Like I said, the folks on this GT40 website are the nicest and most cordial of any forum I've ever participated in. He was most helpful and answered all of my questions. His wife was very nice to us, too. I also think his soccer playing Scotties could out play Manchester United.
Well, I appreciate all of the help, guidance, and information everyone has supplied me, but alas, I probably won't be doing anything GT40-wise for a long while. I chose a career that rewards me in a way other than monetarily. I love what I do. Even the least expensive kit will be well beyond my reach. I think I'm just gonna stick with the Europa and drop a Toyota 4A-GE motor in it. I've heard I can modify it and get down in to the lower 4s for the 0-60 time, however; Dave (I hope that's the correct name), here in Greenville, SC, I'd love to come see your GT40 sometime if you could squeeze me in. I'll always drool over a GT40 MkI or II or a T70 MkIIIb.
Thanks guys! Hopefully I'll be back. It's still a plan, just a distant one.
