Hey All,
I didn't want to get off topic on the "Cars On a String" thread, so here goes.
I'm a big fan of the ALMS, Dyson Racing in particular, as it is the closest I think I will ever get to a late sixties Can Am race. But I long for more brutal excitement when it comes to road racing. I was too young at the time to witness an actual Can Am series race. That being said why can't it come back ? It seems to me that unrestricted road racing would be very popular !!!! I think the trick is to keep sponsors OUT of the action and charge higher ticket prices, or put a dollar limit on the expense of building the car. I'd have NO problem dropping significant coin to see the past come alive...for real.
What does everyone else think ?
