I believe Mark Sibley who made the MDA cars is selling stuff on EBay

Mark Sibley who ran MDA which is no longer in business now is GT Racing. They are based in Exeter UK and can supply parts for MDA GT40 cars. You can contact Mark Sibley here

Having looked again at the pics I suspect they are the same as the Southern GT aluminium uprights. I think they came from the same source.
