GT40 Madrid - help wanted!

Hello! I am working on the Madrid Motorshow for the Ford Stand. Ford of Spain we would like very much to include a Ford GT on the stand as a key attractor to visitors. Unfortunately none of the Ford units are available for the event (!) and I was wondering if you know if any clubs/
individuals in Madrid ideally (or the rest of Spain), who I could contact to see if they would consider lending their vehicle to the Madrid International Motorshow.

The show runs 19th - 30th May and the vehicle would be required from 17th to 31st.

Based on her use of "GT40" in the subject and "GT" in the body of her message, I think she's looking to borrow a GT40 because she couldn't get new GT from Ford.

If you can be assured of the safety of your vehicle, being on the inside of these sorts of events is fun.

If they are after a GT40 replica there is one in Spain advertised for sale on the Enthusiasts web site.

They could probably do a deal and the bloke could sell his car!

perhaps, but if so, this is definitely not the best place on this board to be asking.

never mind that ford has never produced a car called a "GT40" in any century /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

About £500 per day (film industry rates) and £1500 each way to either trailer it or send in a container. It could be worthwile to somebody. 15 DAYS =£7,500 + the £3000 down and back, and all the insurance down to them.
