GT40NZ Rear Wheel Bearings

Hi All,

I have a GT40NZ, and I need to replace the rear bearings, Can anyone tell me what the GT40NZ GT40's used for a rear wheel bearing kits. What are they out of.

The rear wheel kits must have a left and right hand nut, bearing seals and bearings of course.

Hi John, I think you will be best to pull off hub, get pressed apart and match bearings and seals. When I purchased my GT I was told that it had Commodore half shafts?? A good parts man should be able to match numbers, seal size. Most CVs are RH threads. PS I use Auckland Bearings.

If need be, you could contact the the guy who owned the company. Thats his car on TradeMe now (the GT40 Rolling chassis) and there is an email address, Dave Harvey is the guys name.

Hi Steve, Yip I'm using holden half shafts already . But I need the actual bearings in the rear stub axle.

I've contacted Dave already...and he's looking into it, as GT40NZ has been replaced with VisionRacers now. I was just hopping someone knew off the top of the head what they used.
