Sounds like an exciting engine !

Lot Details

This right-hand drive GTD40 was constructed during 1994/95 by former British Hill Climb Champion, the late Tony Marsh. The car is fitted with a dry-sump 4,550cc Rover V8 engine, built by Rovercraft as a development unit and originally installed in a single-seater, which is fed by two Turbo Dynamics turbochargers and produces in the region of 600 horsepower. Prospective purchasers will be relieved to learn that it has a Motec ECU providing traction control and switchable boost for wet conditions.

Competed against this car a number of times at the Brighton Speed Trials. It is blisteringly fast! Tony Marsh knew what he was doing when he built it!

I was a passenger with Tony once in this car.
