GTD Club AGM

Is there a date for the AGM this year? I'd hate to miss it.

Hi Chris

AGM is planned for October 10th at Malcolm and Trudi Kerr's place again. (nr Maidstone in Kent)

The event will take the usual form of BBQ/Buffet and the Marquee will provide cover should the weather be poor (which it won't be!) People are welcome to arrive from 11am onwards and the formal part of the meeting is planned for a 12.00 noon start.

Details/directions will be included with the Autumn magazine which is obviously due out to club members before the event so all please make the effort to attend.

Remember, the AGM is the ideal time for poeple to air their views/opinions and to help plan the future direction(s) of the club. If you are unable to attend but would like a matter brought to the attention of those present, please let a committee member know beforehand in writing so that your voice can be heard.

All the current officers are planning to stand for re-election but we are planning on adding a social secretary position to the committee as well. So if anybody wishes to stand for this position, please notify me as soon as possible.
