GTD driveshaft removal

What is the general opinion on the best way to remove these driveshafts from the Renault box & upright on my GTD?

Are they held in the gearbox with a spring clip & to be removed with a convential forked 'wedge type' tool or is the best way to undo the torx bolts??

I have always undone the TorX bolts. A lot cleaner than dismantling the CVs. Some guys find these bolts need regular checking as they have worked loose. I have never yet suffered this problem but it does exist! Just remember that if you take off a drive shaft to put it back the same side and same way round or you will shorten its life expectancy considerably. I guess you would already know that!
