GTD Steering rack mounts

Does anyone have a source for some solid rack mounts for the Cortina Mk3/4/5 steering rack used in the GTD chassis?

Yes there classic range are stiffer than oem.used them on my gt40

I made these. Had to turn down the ally casting on the rack to give a round profile to sit in the one block. I made the height so that a spacer is needed underneath so i can adjust for bump steer if necessary

Thanks Fred, that's a great idea. I've had a look at a spare rack & your idea makes a lot of sense, not sure I can fit the rack in my little Myford though

I'll give the Powerflex bushes a go & see if I get any improvement, if not I'll start making swarf!
