Hello everyone, my name is Tracy. I am in the early stages of planning to buy a Superlite SL-C.
The project itself if pretty large and setting my expectations and timeline low and slow is probably a good idea. I would like to see this done in two years but I think it could take closer to 3 or 4 since I am a father of four ranging in ages 26 down to 3 years old.
I'm lucky enough to be 20 minutes from Superlite so picking up parts is possible since I have a 1500 Silverado. I have not visited the factory yet but plan on doing so in the next couple months.
I have owned and built some BMW's over the last decade but find myself researching LS3's and Coyote Voodoo engines. So many possibilities! I will tell you the two biggest factors I need for the car to be is,
1. Sound amazing
2. Be unique.
3. light and quick.
So for sound to be good with say an LS3, I will have to do 180 degree headers. Has anyone else done this on there build?
Anyway, happy to be here and home I can place my order in the coming months.
