I read thru some long posts re ID'ing and Audi transaxle. The one I have doesn't match any of the usual numbers including the ones in an Audi workshop manual I have. The box is definately a 016. All the numbers that I can find on this are 016 301 211C, BDE1 4110, 088 301108L and 016 301231B (on end of 5 speed housing). The number on top of the bellhousing is UW 20050. The box is driven by a 351C block and a couple of people have asked "will it take the torque?" Would appreciate help on these points.
