Ok Guys this is one domain where I haven't got a clue, so I have a lap top {Wifes], I have a disc with an lS1 start up map on it, I have a usb adaptor cable, and have downloaded the driver for the cable also onto wifes lap top.
so where to from here, on the Autronic SM4 file I have in the laptop there are 3 I think example maps to look at , 1 is a suby 1 is a mitzi cant remember the other, so firstly how do I get the start up file on disc into that folder.
then once that's done how do you get it from the laptop to the ECU.
the object of this exersize is just so I can start it and bring it up to temp and check all systems etc, before it goes to brizzy, I don't want to arrive down there and have all sorts of silly little dramas, i'd much rather sort them out before hand if possible.
