Identifying Audi 5 speed transaxle

Hi, i have just purchased a KVA GT40 built in South Africa in 1991 and it has a 5 speed audi transaxle, the identification marks are as follows:-

MQ23101
BDE3 5241
016 3012 11D
3144

Can any one tell me were the filler / level orifices are? is it the hex drive plug behind the nearside (lefthand) driveshaft? and what oil is recommended?

it's an 016, the required fluid is G052171A1 or equivalent from Audi/VW.
