Hello,
I just joined, I have a bone stock 2005 Ford GT and am toying with the idea of a twin turbo set up assuming I can get it through Nevada DMV testing. I also own an original 1966 427 Cobra street car. This Cobra is about as far from street legal as you could get: 14.7 to 1, Jerrico gear box, electronic FI, traction control, 18" wheels with a hp to weight ratio of 2.7 to 1. I would like to have that kind of performance with a street legal car, thus the Ford GT. I am impressed by everything about the GT except the weight, if only about 400# could come out, it would be a great car. I think improvements could be made with higher spring and shock rates, getting rid of the roll understeer designed into the suspension and lowering the chassis. I am Hoping to get ideas here on potential improvements for the GT.
Thanks, Bruce
