Hi everyone, long time reader of many builds here on the website. I think this site will soon become a daily read as I took the plunge at the end of May 2025 and ordered the GT40 MKI base kit from RCR. Its been a dream of mine and my fathers to build one together for over 10 years. We would spend countless hours talking about what we would do when someday building one of our own and sometimes we looked to others on this site for ideas and inspiration.
Sadly cancer took him in 2023, far before his time. I lost hope that this would ever become a reality, but continued to watch projects progress and this community grow. It renewed excitement and confidence in myself to complete the kit on my own. Now I look to share this experience with my young children as a memory they will never forget. Someday here soon I will start posting with my own build, but wanted to thank everyone who posts their build, helps to answer questions, and uploads phots for everyone to enjoy.
