I just got copies of the 67 post race engineering reports from Shelby and Holman and Moody.
J6 hit 223 on the Mulsanne at 6400rpm's with 2.50/1 gearing.
These documents list everything. Very Interesting.

Does anybody know what top speeds the Gulf/Wyer Mk I cars hit on the Mulsanne in 1968/1969?

Better let mulsannescorner.com know...
They "only" show 67 Lemans top speed at 212.
