LS3 engine

Hello, I’m building an SLC with an LS3 crate engine.
I have to rotate the intake 180 degrees but there is a valve in the way and it won’t allow me to drop the intake back into proper orientation. How do I address this?

You can modify the valley cover by removing the oil pressure sensor boss and adding a right angle fitting (This is preferred if you want to retain the OEM oil pressure sensor). Other builders if using a 1/8" npt type of sensor for aftermarket gauges have removed the boss and then welded the oil passage hole closed. They then relocate the sensor to a passage just above the oil filter. https://www.lsxinnovations.com/product/ls-oil-port-adapter-dual-18-npt/

Here is the sensor adapter. https://store.katechengines.com/oil-pressure-sensor-adapter---gen-4-reverse-intake-p371.aspx

That will do it. Thank you so much. Did you have to extend what I assume is a 1/4” vacuum line on the other side by just replacing the tube with one you ordered or just something sold by the foot at parts store or hardware store?

I used a tube instead of a hose. You could buy aluminum tubing and bend it with a tube bender than just use a short piece of emission hose at either end.
