I looked into shipping from UK to USA for a UN1 about 18 monthe / 2 years ago.

I would presume a reasonable shipping agent on either side of the pond could set up this type of deal

Just a possible saving for you - make sure your shipping agent knows it is for repair and return or you will be charged Duty and VAT on it coming into the UK (About 5% Duty and 17.5% VAT on your customs value plus freight plus insurance)
I would rather not pay the scalpers any more than they deserve!

when i shipped a gearbox over to the states last time i used ups the weight of the box is 65kg the wife was not happy when i weighed it on our home scales cost using ups to california was £225 gbp i think shipping via sea would be a lot cheaper but also a lot longer depends on your hurry

I don't even know which is the city and which is the state.
What do you call a state? Provence?

Frank I found it! on Yahoo maps UK. Trent lock 2 is a street in a what looks like a industrial park. It's off Sommerfield Rd. in Telford.

So my above shipping lable would be Ok
