Mendeola Transaxle in Superformance GT40s

Hi:

I have a ZF in my Superformance GT40 MKII, but am wondering whether anyone has installed a Mendeola Transaxle in their Superformance car. If so, did it require major changes and, generally, how did it go? I have asked Mendeola about this, as well, and the response seemed encouraging but wanted to get actual experiences. The reason I am asking this is because I am always looking at alternative suppliers of equipment for this car.

A fairly new Mk2 owner, Patrick Lever had his built with a Mendeola transaxle installed by Olthoff Racing. There were some mods to make it fit but nothing obvious.

I would call Dennis at Olthoff Racing and ask him about it.

My SPF MK1 was built with a Mendeola and installed by Merlin at Legendary Racecars. We were not happy with how loud it was at first and had to send it back for QC issues but once returned Merlin installed it and gave it a thumbs up.

I should hopefully have the car back mid-March.
