The record winter in town is 39 feet 8 inches, 1971/72. Kids got shit for playing skip with the telephone wires and when shoveling your roof you had to through the snow up to get it off the roof and dig a tunnel to your front door. HAPPY NEW TO ALL
Was at the top of "The Road to the Sun" at Glacier National Park on one particular 4th of July. Even then (in the middle of summer) they sort of had to dug a tunnel DOWN to the front door of the visitor center.
