MKII in Laurens, SC

OK, who drove their silver MKII down Main St. in Laurens, SC about 4:30ish Saturday, March 20?

I did, I bought it about 6 weeks ago and I am going to post an article on what it is like to drive and own as compared to the Ferraris and Porsches that I have had over the years. I just got it back from Olthoff Racing and he upgraded it with the lastest mods ( Paul Whitlock did the work and he is outstanding and went out of his way to do everything perfect and really explain the car to me ).. I hope to have the post written soon... It is one hell of a car... I drive it everyday and have to wipe the smile off my face before I can eat dinner !!!!!

Do you live around that area? If you do, and if it'd be OK, I'd love to come look at it, if you wouldn't mind. Whenever it'd be convenient for you.
I drove up to Asheville to see Gradys MKII and drove up to Raleigh to see Johanns MKI.

Congratulations on your new car. I await your proposed review of the car and your comparison to the Fcar and P car, as I have also owned a couple of Ferraris ( no Porsche, but i do have a 356 replica).
I don't think there can really be a comparison between the build quality of a Ferrari and that of a GT40 replica. In my opinion, the Ferrari is far superior.
But for seat of the pants thrills, the GT40 is a hoot, not to mention being much, much cheaper to maintain properly. Get to work on that review!:laugh:
