The squared off look of the wings and tail look post war, the fuselage is odd with all those windows forward of the wing, balance could be problematic, plus, i do not see any way to access the interior. The small two bladed props do not appear to have much of a power source , with no obvious cooling scoops, cooling vents or radiators.

Very interesting. Best guess is the 1948 Monsted Vincent MV-1. Think it was powered by four 85 HP Continental engines. Wrecked by hurricane Andrew in 1992 and subsequently destroyed by hurricane Rita in 2005 in Louisiana. I believe it was originally built in Louisiana as well.

...and all this reveals the i.d. of Mr. Craik's plane...how...'zaclky! :laugh:

(Prior to Jim's post above, I'd always thought the F4 was the only bird of the jet age that had those characteristic 'drooping' stabilizers. I don't have a clue whut that thar plane is...)
