Hi. I am a new member here. I am a mechanic at a large Ford dealer in Oregon, and I have always been interested in building my own car. My background is in building and racing dirt late models (a type if dirt oval track car). I came here to learn about the do's and don'ts of building mid engine "street" cars.

I forgot to mention I am an old friend of Chris Kouba, although I have not had time to see his GT40 (we work opposite shedules).

I know that name!!

I forgot to mention I am an old friend of Chris Kouba....

Uh, let's change that to something like "we've known each other for a while" instead of call ourselves old. Good to see you here, there is a LOT of info and knowledge- you'll fit right in.

Jayme is a very talented and skilled fabricator who always amazed me with his ability to get something built and make the most with what he had. When our paths crossed he was scratch-building circle track cars to race with his dad.

And we do need to cross our paths sometime soon.

Chris
