Sam has the D7 in a musem in GA. somewhere. They fixed it all up and convinced Sam to drive it again. They must have done some smooth talking, because Sam told me he would never drive that thing again! Well he did, at Lime Rock last summer.I thought I would never see that car on the track again. It brought back a lot of memeries for me. I think I was the only one there that worked on that car and worked at the company that built the car, Autodynamics Inc., back in the sixties. Sam said he couldn't get the RPMS up over 4500, but it looked and sounded awsome!
Johan, we all have cars that have got away! The Penske / Donohue T70 and a 1953 Ferrari 340 Mexico Roadster are the two that hurt the most!
