Newbie question, what kind of gt40 is this?

Hi all, I am new here and I am looking to buy a fiberglass body of a gt 40, here are some pics of one I have been looking at but the current owner doesnt know much about it so I figured I would ask here. I searched around and found some that look similar to it but nothing exact. Also it is on a old vw chassis now but I wouldnt be buying that with it because it is probably in terrible condition since its been sitting outside for 15 years, undercover though. So Im told that its made for a vw chassis but thats all I know so if anyone knows more about this car please help me out.

It's either an Avenger or Valkyrie. Neither are a close replication of a GT40

Kind of looks like a Mustang / Opel / Corvette concoction.

I would walk away from that project. You are going to have to spend a lot of money to make it right. And in the end, you still won't have anything that looks remotely like a GT40

Walk away.

1. Its nothing like a GT40, except its got 4 wheels
2. Its pig ugly anyway.

The most important decision you should make is which chassis/manufacturer best meets your requirements. Most of them have pretty good bodies now IMOH. Loads of advice on the forum to guide you just as they helped me over the last 5 months to arrive at the right decision for me
