What?
That rabies carrying animals will not be able to make it through the Chunnel?

This guy did it in 11 hours so how long are the rats being given?

Headline "Almost" infers he didn't make it. In fact he was given a lift for the final 1000 metres, now tucked up warm and safe. Nice message.

By any chance, are the loons who are in change of 'chunnel' security the same loons who are in charge of security at the Southern border of the U.S.A.??????????????

God HELP y'all if that be the case...

I would imagine the tunnel is only the tip of the iceberg as far as illegal entry into this country is concerned. The other ferry terminals are equally lax but dont enjoy the attention of sensationalised media. The true numbers of illegals entering this country is staggering and I wonder if the powers to be have been reluctant to round them up because of the lack of resources to deal with the matter. A few years ago a friend had a truck break down in France, it was put into a dealer for repair and he was quoted £1800 to fit a new compressor, the same compressor here at the time £130 and a couple of hours work to fit so we loaded up the car with tools and drove down to the ferry terminal. No passports were required at one stage of our EU marriage so I let mine lapse. Tickets were purchased but passports unbeknown to me at the time were re introduced so I was stuffed. Anyway to cut a long story short I just jumped into the trunk of the car and that was me on the ferry running about unchallenged and the same on the home journey. Its that easy to enter this country, I know some get caught but many hundreds on a day to day basis get in " easily"
