Overflow tank

Hello,

Does anyone know where I can purchase/order a billet aluminum overflow tank similar to one which some guys use in their SLC builds?
Thank you.

Emanuel,

This was before my time on the forums, but I believe this was a group purchase and is no longer available to order. It could always be custom made.

Emanuel,

The picture that you posted is for an expansion tank. The line from its pressure cap is plumbed into an overflow tank, typically the bottom so that when the system cools down water, rather than air, is drawn into the expansion tank. The expansion tank is pressurized whereas the overflow tank is simple, unpressurized container. I tweaked the original design of the expansion tank. The first post lists the changes and second one shows the completed unit.

A simpler tank such as the one used in my build works and is lower cost and easier to fabricate.

This is a moroso expansion tank and the overflow tank is behind it. Cheap and easy. I have over 850 miles and 3 track days with this setup. No issues and no overheating.

Canton Racing Products (part number 80-203, $258 from Summit Racing) makes a combined expansion and overflow tank that fits well next to the LS engine as shown below.
