I got a chat with them et they confirm it is the very first car build as a mk3 in 1966 according to the American technical standards and later on 6 other cars were assembled ...
the also mention that the engine installed during restauration is a 302 .... while the 6 others are 289....
but honnestly the car is beautifull ...
Fiskens of Kensington, London internationally acknowledged as the foremost dealer in fine historic automobiles, where the world's greatest cars come to be sold
Over the years both 1102 and 1103 have been on display in the Beaulieu museum.
GT40/M3/1103 has been beautifully restored / preserved by the current owner. Gary uses it frequently on pace car duty at Goodwood.
In the picture the front bumperettes have been removed and replaced by the steel bar that is used for winching the car into a trailer.
As displayed in Beaulieu in white with a blue stripe the wheel arches had been enlarged. Ford of Britain's Mk3 1107 was used as a template to return the arches to the original design.
A very wet day at Goodwood when Gary took me out for a ride.
