Anyone interested we will be having a party here in Marlow on July14th from about 1800 hrs. It's been suggested that it will be called a
Not-Quite-a-Wake party but in general it's a piss up that might not have happened. Any -40 members any club very welcome.

Straight back into the piss ups and debauchery :pepper: Good one David, obviously the recovery is going well. Good stuff, keep well.

Glad your doing well Dave and feeling better - didn't know you were going in - bin a tad busy here, anyway will try to make it over for a few......

Hi Pete, Yes - back on course but now totally tobacco free.
Wow, - I really feel so righteous.
Paul, I didn't know I was going in either. Sort of a 'force majeur' thing really and everything was beyond my control - not that I would have changed anything they decided. Looking forward to seeing you.

So I saw the posting and thought it said Party - July 4th.

Of course I remembered where you are located so I simply had to read the post to see why the heck you'd be having a party on Independence Day.

That's when I noticed that I had read the wrong date. :)

Congrats on becoming tobacco free; I'm on my 4th year of no smoking. Also my 4th year after a heart attack. Haven't felt as good in years!

Hi Dave

I will be travelling back from the Jaguar Speed Trials in Suffolk Sat eve - is it ok to pop by and say hello?

PM your postcode/address if poss.

:chug: :chug: :chug: (Mine's an 'H20' please..)

Well, after snapping some pics for the organisers of the Woodbridge Speed Trials, I dropped in on David's Party and what a popular chap he is...:)

Great Party, and whilst I was not exactly dressed for the occasion, (having already ridden 300 miles on my bike), David and his other guests made me most welcome. It was a relaxing break in the journey home and was nice to see one of David's toys too (DUCATI....rockonsmile )...very nice!!

Great to see you 'up and about' - god speed a complete and lasting recovery.

Thanks again..... Paul

I hope you don't mind but I have edited out (x's) your specific home address details from your earlier posting as this forum is publically viewed and would not want you to attract any unsavoury types (me excluded of course:D )

I hope this is acceptable.

Can't believe i missed i party and you're just round the corner!!!! I must be getting old....but its been a busy weekend, Aldershot Army show and Uxbridge auto show with the kids. When you're next in the country maybe i could pop over and buy you a beer at the pub on the corner...

No worries Ant,
Think ahead to New Year - thats the next party here.
But yes, some great pubs around here - any old excuse will do.
