thank u Enrst,
jetski is too nice also cause combines the passion for racing we all have, to the pleasure to be by the sea(or lake).
The only ugly thing in "our" races is that usually u are very very far away from water, and in places where the race track is the only interesting thing in a 500 km area.
Also yetserday I rested all the day in Monza looking my races with all my picknic stuff, and I was realizing u have to be really NUT for motorsport to trash another sunday there looking cars u love so much..but that is.
But damn...no water at all (and I deeply love the sea, thinking to change very soon all all my life to be near water).
When we were kids I remember cesare hated too much the ugly cold we have in Milano (actually he was from Segrate, a little suburb near Milano),and we always told eachother..we need sea..sun, beach..chicks.
And as I read...in 30 yrs of races a crash as this one never happened beforse, so, more than track races, u at least think such horrible tragedy cant happen during jetski races (no fire, no walls, no asphalt, no trees,no armco..)....
I still remember too well Ortelli crash in Monza.
I am looking at your pics, what bike number did Cesare had in the race?
Cesare always was forward in everything, since he was 12 he looked as a real Californian surfer (basically if u look at him till the end, he always has been the same...exactly the same eh,same smile, same look..same hairs..LOL a great !).
Was one of the real good ones, the good guy, never never has been an asshold in anything, incredible.
He was simply too nut nut (also yesterday talking to friends there is nobody that doesnt has tales where we all risked our life in something driven by him)
rest in peace cesare, anyway u die doing something u loved (as many many race pilots of the past I love so much).
I hope in the jetski circus someone will dedicate at least a turnament to his memory.
Tears in my eyes now...sorry

..it is 3 days I am this way....
