Next 'Up Helly Aa' is Tuesday 26th January 2016 and the Wednesday 27th is a public holiday in the Shetlands. If 2014 was anything to go by you will probably need the Wednesday to come back to some sort or semblence of life and get ready to fly back to Aberdeen.
p.s. It is also best to be knowledgeable about things in life, i.e. not a shy bairn when it comes to the maidens or you end up being dragged to a nearby croft and divested of your timidity.
