Race at the Glen (Oct. 16-17-18)

I will be with a friend at the Watkins Glen track next week-end. If someone plan to see race, I will be in the paddock (mechanic) and probably the second driver for the 2 hours enduro race. I will race this car:

1. how'd you get into organized racing(something i wanna look into around my home soon)
2. did that thing start out as a fatory Cobra R right off the dealership lot?

1-I never organized race, I became mechanic because my friend need one. This friend is very fair with me, he let me the opportunity to drive the car FREE for my service. For the Race event, we have a National Series (GTO) Grand Touring Open class here in Quebec. We go the the Glen to have a big track.

2-The Base of the car is a GT 1999, Full ind. Front suspension, 3 links rigid rear and coil-over 4 corners. Engine: 351 Windsor, Alum. head, Victor Intake, Long headers, race fuel..... About 450hp, 4 speed Jerico, full roll cage, a very nice one...
