RCR GT40 BR. SUND. N

Hi everyone.
Time to start this thread.
I am a 63 year old man from Helgeland in Norway, with a little over average interest in fast cars. Ordered my RCR GT40 Deluxe package 04.04.24 through a local car repair company.
Got a message from Bill at RCR a week ago that the kit was ready. He also sent over a couple of pictures.
I have started the collection and expect the kit to be picked up from RCR at the end of the week. Since it will be shipped all the way to Norway it will probably take some time before I have the kit at home, but hopefully before the holidays.
I have also acquired a used G96 gearbox that I will use.
I acquired a new 302 Blue Print engine 1 year ago.
I probably won't be the one who posts the most here on the forum, but there will be some updates during the build process.

Some specifications:

Right-hand drive.
Single nose.
2`` wider rear fender flares.
Halibrand 17`` rims.
Small block Ford clutch pack.

indeed, may be very different between Sweden and Norway ? ....
According to current legislation, it is easy to get an amateur build approved in advance as long as you comply with the regulations. You must first get a preliminary approval, and then you can start after the Norwegian Motor Vehicle Inspectorate (SFOOR) has seen the build kit. They must follow up the build with at least one more garage visit, where they stamp the chassis number. Finally, there is completion approval and registration. It is approximately the same procedure and legislation in Sweden as well.

Bjorn, you are living in a nice country, in France, this is now impossible, and on top of this with a 5 liter or more engine we have a 60k€ taxe to pay for the first registration if your car is younger than 30 years.
