Really good track-only tire.....??

High performance tires, road or track, for cars with 15in rims on vintage cars (with suitable aspect ratio) have become really scarce on the market. What's left usually is quite expensive. This holds even more so for 14in rims (with Hoosiers pretty much the only choice). I recently switched from 14" to 15" on my Alfa so that I can run Yokohama Advans. Within a few tire changes I'll have recovered the cost of the rims (Panasports)...

Try finding 13" tires for a sports car, especially for 5" wide rims.

I received the spec of Nankang Nederland

I found out also that Michelin TB5 are impossible to use on the rear of the RCR without a modification on the suspension. Its because the traveling, up and down of the lower traction arm will touch the chassis box.
The Michelin are 24" in diameter, the Avon or Nankkang are 25", it means to keep the clearance under the car on the rear, it is necessary to lower down the axis of the wheel compare to the chassis of 1/2". And 1/2" will limit to much the mouvement of the lower arm. The only solution would be to manufacture a new bottom support of the lower arm and shock absorber to compensate the 1/2" lost. May be one day...
At this time I think I will go with the Nankang.
