So far these things are going for $203........
I'm stunned.
These sell new for £30 a pair in Fiat catalogues.
So here's some advice :-
If you want to make easy money stick a GT40 tag on a banana a put it on eBay.

Actually I have seen this before on eBay. People get excited and bid way more than the actual item is worth. Of particular note in this instance is the fact that the two people bidding are possibly quite new to eBay. One person still has a 0 feedback rating, and the other person has a rating of 1. So it's quite possible that both of these people have got caught up in the excitement of buying something online.

I may well have a complete set for sale, period 1966.
I've aquired a set of the earlier one piece lights and am contemplating going with them.
IMHO i prefer them to the Marchals and Lucas twin light set up.

As a matter of fact there has only ever been two varieties of Musa worthy of cultivation for the world's most popular fruit..... musa acuminata & musa balbisiana.
So metaphorically, there is also a similar choice in bananas - to buy one of two originals.
Now, if you wish to discuss "sour grapes" there are several varieties.

I've been looking for a source for these lights in the US. The few that I've found want big money for them ($250-$300+ for a pair). They look like they should cost less than $100. Even Ricambio in the UK quoted $275 with shipping.
Does anyone know a source for these at a reasonable price?
