REPO GURNEY WESLAKE VALVE COVERS

Gents,

Looking for GW valve covers that will fit on a modern (Dart/Brodix/et al) head with modern valvetrain. Any vendors out there?

Thank you,

JM

If the valve cover bolt pattern and shape is the same as the stock Ford layout ours will fit.
We have Eagle and Weslake versions available.
Thanks

Should be OK but we do spacers if you need more height but we never needed them yet.
Thanks

Andy,

Will they fit over a modern valvetrain? I.E, Roller rockers?

Thanks,

JM

JM,
I bought a set of these from Andy. Nice castings. I polished & painted the outside of them. However, my engine builder informed me that he had to do some minor grinding on the inside to accommodate the valvetrain and then also added baffles. Apparently, no spacers were needed.

Those are our earlier version with the broken top fins.
The latest version has an unbroken top fin like in the attached picture.
Thanks

Hey guys, I haven’t been on this forum in quite some time. Anyway, I have a set of these Gurney Weslake valve covers. I don’t know if these are the early or late. I bought these from Chris Melia (sp?) I think back in 2010-11ish if I remember correctly. I’ve had the gasket surface corrected as well as the mounting holes corrected to fit 289-302,C6FE as well as any aftermarket SBF head.
I’ve test fitted them to my 65 350 and they clear my Crower roller rockers. I also have ab NOS C6AE FoMoCo Weber Manifold identical to the C6FE version. Currently collecting dust and occupying shelf space, but I’m not ready to part with them just yet.

cheers,
Earl J
