Hi Guys, This free software looks usefull, has anyone tried it out, seems like a good way of getting those weird shapes into a cad program so you can shuffle the parts about.

I wonder if the forum could use a "Hardcore Builder's Forum" with a place for true do it yourself folks that are into making a chassis and body on their own? I don't know if it'd get enough people though cause I can only remember a handful of folks into this sort of thing.

I know of at least 10-15 people from our local car club in NZ that visit daily there are many people here in nz who are building from scratch, all types of cars ie Mclaren ,lamborghini etc, they all have a chassis of some type, or a body shape they are trying to build,the problem is not many of us are cad experts, but a site this size has a huge amount of knowledge and experience, and the thing i like here is everyone trys to help each other, after all we are all trying to build our dream car no matter what brand or model it is, im tying to use the web guy chassis design for my countach chassis, but have got stuck on unlocking the files, also i have been unable to discover how to draw 2 parallel lines 38mm apart at the same time using solid works, but i'm sure someone here will know, so an area thats not GT40 specific but scratch built would be a great idea.
