Should we consider an informal registery here?

of our replica GT40 serial/chassis/vin numbers. That way new-to-be-registered cars wont use duplicate vin numbers. It would be rare to have 2 of the same numbers in the same state, but this could cause confusion to both state dept of motor vehicle dept. AND it could cause problems with insuance companies if they had 2 cars with te same vin. We could post our exhisting vins, and our propsed vin to see if someone in the group has used t yet. cb
