Excellent job Denny, especially considering that the dry sump 4 stage drive is on the drivers side of the engine. Getting that last tube in is always a pain though isn't it?
The spart plug locations on the 18 deg heads create trouble too.....otherwise the headers would be running downwards, and not upswept...
easier packaging downwards..
After making my own headers for the GT40 I have great respect for your workmanship on these headers. It took me more than four hours per tube to cut, fit and tack each one together.
Keep up the good work, we really appreciate the photos!

That looks absolutely insane! I bet that car is going to haul some serious ass when it's done. You guys said that's a Sprint Car engine in that SL-C? Any idea what kinda power that thing is making?
Thanks for the complements! I hope to get some finished pics up tomorrow or Friday.Hopefully, I will get to do some stainless headers in the near future. Maybe I will try to find some old turbo header pics that I did before RCR. ??
What are the dimensions of the "muffler" in these pictures. How much vertical height/ clearance is there between the top of the gearbox and the shock mount X bracing. Can a center exhaust route work above the gearbox ala GT40?
