Does anyone know of a source for LED marker lights or turn signals? As bright as possible, in white or orange, and weather proof. And small. TIA.

The local shop near me that sells truck caps and towing accessories has LED lamps that plug directly into a socket that would normally take an 1157 bulb. They are pretty bright, and although they are not full LED packages (like the whole lamp assembly dotted with LED's) they look pretty good, and last almost forever with the socket being the weak link.
I don't know if smaller bulb conversions are offered for markers.
I would think with all of the trucks I see aroiund using LED lighting on trailers it is a good bet that you would find smaller marker lamps at a truck stop store along with all the other goodies.

Good idea. We need to do something about turn signals, perhaps we can fit a socket that an 1157 would fit into. Thanks.
