Superformance question

Curious about a Superformance car on ebay item #140276470839
The seller says its a one year old MK1, has motor and trans installed all ready to go. What Im confused about is his list of "updates and sorting" I've been told these cars are built really well? Im amazed at all the extra work he says he did. The aution ends in the next day so in case it ends and you dont have a chance to look at it here is a clip from the ad. Thanks for any input!

Updates and sorting:
* Halon Fire suppression system installed
* Air conditioning: fully sorted including electrical re-wired and all 0-rings replaced to correct leakage
* Fuel pump rewired to separate circuit
* Tow Hooks installed
* Rear Sway bars and exhaust headers modified to fit chassis, rear suspension travel and bodywork
* Shift linkage completely reworked
* Hydraulic throttle linkage installed
* Pedal Assembly repaired and re-constructed
* Front Sway bar and A-arms re-positioned for proper clearance and alignment and minimize bump steer
* Steering re-timed and all Heim Joints re-set correctly
* All under-amperage fuses, relays for AC and engine fans re-wired and/or upgraded
* And much more!

Scott, take a look in the Superformance section and the how-to section. Many folks on here have written up some great information about things that need "adjustment" on these cars. Seem to be well built cars but like all of these things they need tweaking.

Scott, all these cars require a lot of tweaking, I am not sure on some of the issues he is explaining as a FIX but more or less something he choose to change. Like "Electric Fuel Pump rewired" The fuel pump circuit in the car is huge and controlled by relays, if he rewired it its because he wanted something else or perhaps he is using the EFI control they provide. Most of the other issues are the same thing we have been discussing on the forum for a long time. Issues that need to be addressed but all of us have in common with our cars. These cars are not made and put together as drivers and when installing power-plants and transaxles many of these problems come to the attention of the installer. Shifter, AC, Front and rear Sway bar and more have been talked about. So I guess I can say someone has attended to these issues on his car and its ready to rumble.

I haven't really tweaked mine at all. It is up to you. I have only reworked the speedo cable for accuracy and to take the sharp bend out of it. Oh, and I added side view mirrors.

Other than that, my car runs great. I am not sure who finsihed off that car...mine was done by Olthoff.

That explains a lot, he knows these cars better than most and one other person I know. If you get one in the raw and "do it yourself" then the learning curve is long. :)
