Surface shipping from the USA to the UK

Can anybody recommend anyone who can pick up an engine block from the USA and ship it via surface mail to Southampton docks at a reasonable rate (door to port shipping from the USA to the UK)???

Where in the US?

We import from USA all the time and different carriers are better from different areas!

The number of £100 per ton or cubic meter sea freight springs to mind - on average 16 days sailing
