T70 barn find ?

The MK III coupe body is now a shell on the floor, but still looks cool.

Well, for better or worse, it is painted !
Edit : for some reason only half the picture posts and then my rag of a computer "times out".

this is the original dash support structure that was only on the Gurney car. It had been "cut down" when the coupe conversion occured. We re-made it, but I do have the original. The chassis plate is attached to it.

Now all that is left are the headers, wiring, plumbing, fuel cell, gauges (which I have, thank goodness), decals, brakes, bearings, tires, crack check, re-nickel, alignment,
and then put a bettery in it, fire it up, and fix all of the problems that will surface !

I'm trying to fit headers and it is a challenge. These are from a GT40 and I am trying to adapt them, but it might be easier to start from scratch. The Lola chassis rear crossmember is higher (actually, the engine sits lower in the Lola would be a more accurate statement) so these headers will need major modification to work. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif

I quit on the headers and worked on the cosmetics some more.
Less frustrating. 2 Lola enthusiasts,Sean and Claude, from a sign company helped me make the decals and we put them on today.
